Physical Activities
This tour involves little physical activity outside of our daily walking tours. We will do our best to accommodate all physical needs, however, please ensure that you are physically able to participate in those activities without complaint, if not then this may not be the best trip for you.
TRAVEL INSURANCE:
Missing a vacation is bad enough. Losing the money you paid for your vacation is even worse. Trip insurance is therefore highly recommended. Your premium is related to your trip cost, so you don’t have to worry about being over-insured. We recommend the Travel Insurance providers outlined below:
Payments & Payment Plans
All payments to Adventure in Black are non-refundable and non-transferable. This is because Adventure in Black has contractual agreements with hotels, airlines, and other vendors that will not allow us to obtain any refunds. This way we can keep our package prices low and allow you to make monthly payments on your vacation.
Should you opt-in to our payment plan program, your invoice will clearly note your due dates and amount. We suggest you put this payment plan on your personal calendar.
A $75 late fee will be applied to all payments made after the 3-day grace period. Your trip is subject to cancellation after two missed payments.
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
US Travelers entering Thailand are no longer required to produce vaccination certificates or recent negative PCR tests.
Make sure you are up-to-date on routine vaccines before every trip. These vaccines include the COVID-19 Vaccine, measles-mumps-rubella (MMR) vaccine, diphtheria-tetanus-pertussis vaccine, varicella (chickenpox) vaccine, polio vaccine, and your yearly flu shot.
The CDC recommends you visit your doctor (ideally, 4-6 weeks) before your trip to get vaccines or medicines you may need.

Flights
Book your flight to and from Suvarnabhumi Airport in Bangkok as early as possible (we recommend 6 months prior to departure). Please make sure your passport is valid for at least six months beyond the date of your entry into Thailand. Please plan to arrive by no later than 6:30 PM on November 4, 2022.
You will book your departure flight from Phuket International (HKT) at any time on December 03, 2023.
Money / Currency
Thailand utilizes the Thai Baht (TBH) as its currency. 1 USD is equivalent to 29.20 TBH. Many places do not accept credit cards, please bring cash for tips, restaurant expenses, and souvenir shopping. Upon arrival, you can change your USD to local currency (THB) at the Airport. You can also withdraw money from the ATM but beware that ALL ATMs charge a 220 Bath (~$7.20 USD) withdrawal fee every time you withdraw money.
Notes:
Traveling abroad requires a passport valid for six months beyond your travel dates. In order to participate in this experience, you must have a valid passport with an expiration date no SOONER than May 19, 2023.
