Book your roundtrip flight to Jose Marti International Airport (HAV) as early as possible. Please make sure your passport is valid for at least six months beyond the date of your entry into Cuba. Plan to arrive no later than 4:00 PM local time.
MONEY/CURRENCY
Cash is King in Cuba. Your credit/debit cards will NOT be accepted, so please bring enough cash for tips, restaurant expenses, souvenir shopping or any other miscellaneous expenses. There are 2 Cuban currencies: the Cuban Peso Nacional (CUP) and the Cuban Convertible Peso (CUC). Upon arrival, you can change your USD to local currency at the Airport.
